Permissions Management

The BTX platform has a sophisticated permissions management system.  This ensures that clients can have full control over which of their users can view specific content.  Users are categorized into five different permissions levels.  You can change a user’s level at the click of a button. 

There are over 60 permissions in the BTX system.  These include reading/writing content, editing and deleting, and managing system settings.  Each one of these permissions can be associated with a level, so you can determine exactly the amount of access you want your user types to have.

With our easily configurable permissions, you can configure your site to be as open or as restrictive as you’d like.  You can arrange it so that guests and new users have read-only access, while premium users can interact directly with the authors, and/or post their own content.  Alternatively, your site can allow everyone to publish content on equal footing.  Many of our permissions also mirror those found on LDAP system, so your BTX site can match what users can do on your organization's network.
